Meet Nina Orji - African Dialect
Nina lives in Abuja Nigeria. She was raised in Igbo land, in Nigeria, where she spent 38 years of her life.
One of her personal missions is to keep the Igbo language and culture alive by teaching the language and the rich Igbo cultural heritage.
She has taught Igbo in Nigeria and abroad, and her unique teaching style has endeared her students. Her model of teaching is to make it layman-friendly and easy to learn.
She also speaks and teaches Nigerian pigeon English. So when you book her, come ready to put Igbo words together, learn pigeon English, or speak English with a Naija accent.
Meet Hareen Hunter - Jamaican Dialect
Hareen Hunter is an experienced educator who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a native speaker of Jamaican Creole. Driven by the passion for the arts, she has always indulged herself in areas of Jamaica’s theatrical history .
She has served as the club advisor for culture clubs which focuses on preserving the history of Jamaica’s culture through dance, drama and music.
One of her beliefs is that students learn the deeper meaning of this art to find a strong connection to it as it opens a whole different world for them.
In addition to her 6 years experience in education, she has gained a plethora of inter-personal skills which allows her to be able to communicate effectively to anyone she meets.
Her mantra which she imparts to her students is, “You can learn something new every day if you listen.”
